Laura McGarry joined Russell, Krafft & Gruber, LLP in 2017 after several years representing the Lancaster County Children and Youth Social Service Agency and Office of Aging, where she gained extensive experience litigating on behalf of children and families. Laura was previously Legislative Counsel for the Pennsylvania Bar Association and law clerk to the Honorable Maria Musti Cook of the York County Court of Common Pleas. Laura’s diverse legal background allows her to take a unique yet practical approach to practicing law. Laura approaches the practice of law as a collaboration with her clients making sure that they remain informed and involved throughout the entire legal process. Her priority is to understand her client’s needs to tailor her representation to meet those goals.
Laura graduated from the Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law, where she focused her attention on developing strong litigation skills. At graduation, she was awarded the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Award for Excellence in Advocacy. Laura also received her B.S. in Marketing from the Pennsylvania State University Smeal College of Business.
Laura is a past member of the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, having dedicated a year of full-time service to assisting pregnant women in Washington, D.C. Laura works with Russell, Krafft & Gruber’s wide range of business and individual clients. She provides the same effective and personalized legal services all of the firm’s clients expect and deserve.
Laura is a member of the Lancaster County Bar Association and the Junior League of Lancaster. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Penn State Law Alumni Society. Laura, her husband Kevin, and three children, reside in Lititz.
