Julie Miller is a partner with RKG law. She represents clients in Lancaster County and surrounding counties and focuses her practice on family law matters and municipal law.
Julie has more than twenty (20) years experience in all areas of family law, including drafting and review of prenuptial agreements, divorce, equitable distribution, child custody, and spousal and child support. She provides advice to clients about options for resolving matrimonial and custody issues and helps them prepare for their changing family system. She routinely litigates complex matters ancillary to divorce, including business valuations, discovery challenges, retirement account valuation and analysis, dissipation issues, income analysis and complex asset distribution. Julie is an efficient negotiator and whenever possible, works to settle matters outside of court. To that end, she is trained in mediation and regularly assists clients who are working through the mediation process to resolve their separation and divorce-related issues.
Julie’s practice also includes counsel for municipal authorities, zoning hearing boards and inter-governmental councils. She advises her clients on a broad range of municipal topics, including governance in accordance with the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code, procedures under the Pennsylvania Right to Know Act and Sunshine Act, procurement and operations under the Third Class County Convention Center Act, and the Municipality Authorities Act.
Julie resides in Lancaster with her husband, Russ, and their children. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, skiing, being outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.
